Minky Stapleton

I am a multi-faceted illustrator with a range of styles developed over the years. I have a strong foundation in conceptual thinking from years of working in in some of the best advertising agencies as an award-winning Art Director and later Creative Director. This also means that I illustrate with a designer's eye, always keeping the idea front and centre.

 

After many years in agencies, I gave up the bad pitch food, never ending meetings, late-night shoots and corporate cabs, to follow my first love, illustration.

 

Since then, I have lived in three countries, had exhibitions in South Africa and Australia, designed costumes for a rock opera, created book covers for best-selling authors. I have now also written and illustrated my own picture books for children.
